Massive Secondhand Book Sale!

William Colenso College is holding its annual Book Sale in 3 weeks time.
Held annually for the past 27 years, the Sale is being staged in the School Hall, Arnold St, Napier on Saturday June 10th , 9am - 4pm and on Sunday 11th 9 am - midday.
Books, records, DVD's are still being received adding to the thousands of books already sorted. Make a note of the date and come and browse for some great buying.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
