Spring Market
Hi everyone, thanks for supporting Magpie Market. Last Saturday was the 1st day of spring and the market matched the lovely weather. It was bright and happy with lots of stalls and plenty of visitors but the highlight was live music by Rose and Daryl. They really lifted the mood and had us all foot-tapping and humming along. They are available for events (ph. 06 845 2900) and will be back at the market often. Don't miss our October market, Saturday 6th October.

Green potatoes
Why do the supermarkets and others sell green potatoes. They are toxic and should be covered with a sack or something dark so the light doesn't get to them.
