No-one need to be alone on Christmas Day this year! Once again bringing back the Community Spirit to Havelock North/Hastings.
Christmas can be a very stressful time of year, and for those doing it tough, many are unable to provide their family with a special meal on Christmas Day. This year has certainly had its ups and downs, with enormous numbers of people affected by the water crisis leaving many out of pocket.
Age Concern Havelock North and Pure Catering are working together again to provide a Christmas Day Community Lunch free of charge for anyone in need. Last year we helped 120 and this year is shaping up to around 150 people.
We encourage the community to help us make Christmas brighter for those in need by donating to this worthy event. The lunch cannot be a success without the support of our community.
How can you help us?
We would greatly appreciate any donations to assist us in putting this event on. Donations can be made to the below bank account, through the give a little page or by contacting us directly .
