Alpacas and Goats need new home

Linda from Poraiti

We are leaving Hawkes Bay to move closer to family and sadly can't take our animals with us.

We have 5 female Alpacas (4 are breedable, 1 is too small and not suitable) available to a good home. Ages range between 10 - 15 years. They have all been shorn and medicated. Purchased 4 years ago from Waimarie Alpacas and they are all Alpaca Assn registered.

All the Alpacas must go together (they are a herd).

Price negotiable.

We also have 2 weathered male Goats (Nubian / Toggenburg cross), 4 years old, very friendly, hand raised. They are available to a good, caring home. Definitely NOT for meat! The Goats names are Bill and Ted. They must go together as they were raised together and are best mates.

Free to a good home

Poll: As a customer, what do you think about automation?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Press investigates the growing reliance on your unpaid labour.

Automation (or the “unpaid shift”) is often described as efficient ... but it tends to benefit employers more than consumers.

We want to know: What do you think about automation?
Are you for, or against?

Time to Tickle Your Thinker 🧠

The Riddler from The Neighbourly Riddler

If a zookeeper had 100 pairs of animals in her zoo, and two pairs of babies are born for each one of the original animals, then (sadly) 23 animals don’t survive, how many animals do you have left in total?
