Christmas Market

Magpie Market

Wow, we planned a lovely Xmas Market for this Saturday 17th November and the response has been fantastic. From 4 - 8pm in the Meeanee Hall we will have 40 stalls selling lovely, unique top quality items of every imaginable sort. You should be able to pick up all your Christmas presents in one happy, easy evening. The atmosphere will be lots of fun with live music and Santa for the kids - big and little. And for the rumbling tummies there's a sausage sizzle and hot pizza and treats from the kitchen - and the lovely Tania will have her coffee cart there with hot drinks so everything is covered. Come and support local and have fun doing it. Meeanee Hall 4 - 8pm this Saturday 17th November - see you all there.

Poll: If we want to reduce speeding, what do you think actually changes driver behaviour? πŸ›»πŸš¨πŸš“

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In the Post's article on speeding penalties, the question is asked whether speeding fines are truly about road safety, or are they just a way to boost revenue for the Crown?

What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?
