Raincoats and trenchcoats and umbrellas similar to what we have today. The clear plastic umbrellas that we can buy in the 1-2-3 shops were available from the mid-late 30s. If it's cool too, ladies and girls will want a beret and even wool gloves. Animal prints became popular from 1932 onwards.

Two old armchairs for sale. Circa 1940. We were going to restore these and keep them but that’s not going to happen now. They’re structurally solid but look worn and tatty.

We are leaving Hawkes Bay to move closer to family and sadly can't take our animals with us.
We have 5 female Alpacas (4 are breedable, 1 is too small and not suitable) available to a good home. Ages range between 10 - 15 years. They have all been shorn and medicated. We have 5 female Alpacas (4 are breedable, 1 is too small and not suitable) available to a good home. Ages range between 10 - 15 years. They have all been shorn and medicated. Purchased 4 years ago from Waimarie Alpacas and they are all Alpaca Assn registered.
All the Alpacas must go together (they are a herd).
Price negotiable.
We also have 2 weathered male Goats (Nubian / Toggenburg cross), 4 years old, very friendly, hand raised. They are available to a good, caring home. Definitely NOT for meat! The Goats names are Bill and Ted. They must go together as they were raised together and are best mates.

They’re the friendly faces looking after you, your family and your community – and you’ll find them on the ground, mucking in and getting on with the job. Our volunteers have a wide variety of professional backgrounds, but when disaster strikes they are ready to go.
Regular training opportunities are provided at no cost and are delivered to industry best practice. Training topics include: First aid, Health and safety, Ground-level rescue, Emergency welfare, Personal preparedness, Stress management, Communicating with distressed people during emergencies, Radio communications, Incident reporting, Casualty handling, Triage, Medical ethics, Flood awareness.
We are always looking for keen people to get involved. Interested in finding out more? the Hawkes Bay DWST teams first meeting for 2020 will be held on Thursday 30th January at the Hastings Service Centre - 823 Heretaunga Street West, Hastings from 7pm please come along, have a chat and see if you are keen to join the team.

Hi all I would like to give a shout out to a wonderful young man called Jack. We went for coffee at McDonald's and Jack was doing the most amazing job of keeping the whole place spotless. He was so thorough and observant taking great pride in his work.
