Cat still missing - do you know of someone who is feeding him?

Alana from Green Island - Abbotsford

My cat is still missing and I am not giving up, no matter how long it may take to find him. He has been missing since June.

We suspect someone has assumed that he is a stray and is feeding him. Possibly, they may want to keep him as many people assume a cat is homeless if the owners are not within close proximity.

City cats can wander up to 5 km when they are lost, and Miles was sighted twice over three blocks away from our house. So please do not assume he is a stray since he has wandered quite far.

A reward is being offered for his SAFE return. No questions asked.

He comes from a loving family, and we are still very upset over his disappearance. I know some people can't relate to how much we love and miss him but he became such a huge part of our family and my life. After I had surgery, my partner got Miles for me when he was a kitten so I would have company while on bed rest. Looking after Miles made me feel better and motivated me to work on my recovery faster. Not having him here just feels like there is a massive part of my life missing.

If you know where he is, please call me: 02102529119.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
