Man cave alert: Dunedin man's retro arcade games and jukebox collection
Time to search for those old 20 cent pieces, as vintage arcade games, slot machines, and jukeboxes prepare to go under the hammer.
Ronnie Proctor of Proctor Auctions' auction collection includes a rugby themed slot game and more than a dozen jukeboxes to choose from, featuring dozens of individual records from AC/DC to ZZ Top.
The auction, being held in Dunedin on Sunday, is limited to 100 people on the floor due to Covid-19, but punters can also listen online, and use an app to bid in real-time.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
