Stay True To Yourself Peeps ๐ฆ
Hi Neighbours,
Another gorgeous Autumn day for us ๐๐ in Dunedin ๐. The first time I heard this saying I instantly loved it! In my humble opinion it's a huge source of self-confidence when you live life from principles dear to your heart ๐. Sometimes we don't and we tell ourselves it doesn't matter because "no-one will know". We've just discounted ourselves completely though because there is one person who will know and that is ourselves. Nathanial Brandon's book ๐ "The Six Pillars of Self Esteem" set me on a path of personal responsibility that lead to an enormous increase in my self confidence. And those around me began responding in kind. Personal development is a very empowering tool that has given me the courage to live life on my terms. Which reminds me of another saying I heard recently "if the only tool you have is a hammer - every problem is a nail" perhaps less effective ?
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens arenโt seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days โ the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, whoโs made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
