Dunedin’s popular Kmart store in the Meridian Mall is set to leave the site it has called home for the past 23 years.

Meridian Mall was found to have a seismic performance of less than 34 per cent of the new building standard, and Kmart's lease expires in September. Kmart was now in the process of finding a new location, a spokeswoman said.
