Join the fight to Save Tiwai on July 24
Southland and Invercargill jobs and livelihoods are at risk. Rio Tinto has announced that they will close the smelter at the end of the year, affecting more than 2,000 jobs.
Join the Rt Hon Winston Peters to discuss the future of Tiwai Point at a rally from 1pm on Friday the 24 July.
This meeting is open to all – come along to the Invercargill Workingmen’s club at 154 Esk Street, Invercargill.
