“Grief is a journey not a destination”
Nigel and Christine Edwards and the staff of Avenal Park Funeral Home offer a professional service to take some of the stress away from families. It is an honour to be able to assist Southland families during their time of uncertainty and grief.
We encourage you to take time to talk, to convey your wishes then allow us to look after the details. There are no specific rules when planning a funeral - let us help you through a very sad and emotional time.
For more information on what is available or you would like to discuss options, contact Nigel, Donna, Chris or Mel at Avenal Park Funeral Home - 03 218 9021
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
