Nine Lessons & Carols with Franklin Community Choir

Cecily from Pukekohe

We have two special Christmas services this Sunday, December 8, at St Andrew's Anglican Church in Pukekohe.

At 9.30am we bring out our angels and shepherds to share the Nativity story through the CHRISTMAS PAGEANT, a not-always-traditional retelling of those events in a Bethlehem stable more than 2000 years ago. All are welcome to join in or just enjoy.

At 7pm we have NINE LESSONS AND CAROLS featuring the Franklin Community Choir. This lovely service will be a combined service with St Patrick's Catholic Church. All welcome.

St Andrew's is the red brick church on the corner of Queen St and Wesley St. Come and join us in our Christmas celebrations!

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
