Have you heard of Abbeyfield? www.abbeyfield.co.nz... it is an alternative to the many developing/developed retirement homes built for the wealthy. There are many people in our society who will not be able to afford the capital outlay for these retirement homes but may want to be in a friendly community as they age. Abbeyfield has some answers and it would be a welcome addition to the choices available in Franklin. Are there people in Franklin who would like to set up a group to investigate the possibilities of building an Abbeyfield home in Franklin. Please contact me if you are interested in progressing this idea.

CLOSED WAITANGI DAY 📜 FRIDAY 6th FEBRUARY!
Just a reminder that Friday 6th February is Waitangi Day and we will therefore be closed, as we join the rest of the country in marking the anniversary of the signing of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
We shop will be open as usual on Saturday and Sunday 9:30am - 2:30pm.
