Earth Day and Garage Sale
Pukekohe Anglican Church is marking Earth Day this Saturday with a charcoal fire and tree planting in conjunction with the church's annual Garage Sale. The tree being planted is a miniature kowhai, and it is replacing the beech tree cut down from in front of St Andrew's Church (corner of Queen St and Wesley St) last week.
The Garage Sale starts at 8am in the church hall, with the book stall in the garage by the rear carpark.
The Earth Day charcoal fire will be lit at 9am, with games, activities and talks for the kids about caring for our Earth, plus a sausage sizzle from 10am. At 11.30am the fire will be quenched and the kowhai tree planted.

9.3% For. Self-service is less frustrating and convenient.
-
43.6% I want to be able to choose.
-
47.1% Against. I want to deal with people.
Time to Tickle Your Thinker 🧠
If a zookeeper had 100 pairs of animals in her zoo, and two pairs of babies are born for each one of the original animals, then (sadly) 23 animals don’t survive, how many animals do you have left in total?
