Tutus on Tour returns to Whangarei!
The Royal New Zealand Ballet opens its 70th anniversary season with a fresh, new production of the ever-popular Tutus on Tour coming to Forun North – Capitaine Bougainville Theatre on 12th March.
See dancers from your national ballet company perform an enchanting collection of works which encapsulate the history of ballet, including treasures from the RNZB’s recent past alongside classical favourites, and exciting new works which will delight dance fans of all ages.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

Warrant to arrest: Steven Te Maru Walters
Police are working to locate Steven Te Maru Walters, who has a warrant for his arrest and is wanted by Police.
Walters, 40, is wanted by Police in relation to breaching his release conditions and is known to frequent the Whangārei area. It’s believed he is actively avoiding Police.
