TINY HOUSE Use.

Hemi from Rural West Whangarei

It seems with the Government idea of affordable homes of 100,000 in 10 years is going NOWHERE. They have to build 10,000 per year. Then a low-cost alternative such as a "TINY HOUSE" under 40sqms is a viable option. Therefore it needs Government and District councils to come up with an effective system for those with NO HOUSE. So they can get a home without expensive BUILDER Charges of $2,500 per Sq Metre.
HOW- Relax the restrictions on Sq. metre size-at the moment, NO PERMIT size is 10 sqms and Relax the House on SKIDS e.g Temporary Building to allow such a Home to be permitted up to 80 sqms with a WIDE LOAD Width of 3.5 metres. That way the house can be moved. Building Consent to be given on "Pleasing Design" not given on "EYESORE". Kia ora to problem-solving.
