Direct Animal Action members will be back at the Warkworth Rodeo on January 1 with thier protestsigns calling on the new Labour Government to stop rodeo by banning it in New Zealand.
Do you agree that the sport is cruel to animals like the protesters, or just a fun day out for the family like the organisers say.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
