Are you up-to-date with Mumps immunisations?
It's time to check you and your whanau have had two doses of MMR vaccine. Auckland has had 92 cases of mumps since January 1 2017, with at least 4 requiring hospital treatment. Over half of them have been in West Auckland. People affected have been between 5 months to 51 years old and half of them are children and young people between 10 - 19 years old (ARPHS, May 2017).
Call your GP today to check if you are up-to-date with your immunisations.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
