Bearded Iris WILD PEACOCK -potted
This tall bearded iris is called WILD PEACOCK.
Intriguing shades of maroon purple and brown. The beard is a contrasting gold tipped blue.
My parent clump is in flower at the moment. It is a late blooming iris.
Bearded Iris are easy to grow. They like to sunbathe and are frost hardy. They like the sun and a well drained spot in the garden but this plant survived some serious soggy ground this past winter.
Plant them with rhizomes sitting on top of the soil. This one could be eased out of its pot and put straight in the ground.
Pickup is in Kuripuni
Thanks for looking.

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
