There is about 4 large rhizomes in this potful, and it has two flower spikes which just opened today, so they will last a while.

The large pot goes with the iris. The plant could go straight into the ground without much trouble.
Bearded iris are easy to grow. Drought and frost tolerant. Plant them with the rhizomes sitting on top of the soil so they can sunbathe and the roots firmed down underneath.
