Lavender sugar is a great alternative to vanilla sugar as a topping for candies, cakes, and other pastries. It's also a wonderful sweetener for tea.
Try Loose Lavender Buds in red sauces for pasta or pizza, it gives an intriguing rich taste. Just a teaspoon full is enough.
They also go well with fruit, especially raspberries and blueberries. A crème anglais flavoured with lavender makes an elegant end to a meal. Lavender is used in savory breads, pastries and in cakes biscuits and muffins quite successfully.
Mint and lemon are two other flavours that combine well with Lavender.
