Get planning for aviation amazement coming soon in February

What aircraft are coming to Wings Over Wairarapa in February?

Some of the highlights include: the fighter plane Yak-3M 'Full Noise' (pictured), a P51 Mustang, a Strikemaster, a Spitfire TR9, a military NH90 helicopter, plus so many more.

The Royal New Zealand Air Force's The Black Falcons aerobatic display team will amaze crowds from the skies. And a fly past of the new RNZAF maritime patrol aircraft, the P-8A Poseidon, will be one to remember.

Get your tickets and make your plans now! Wings is on Friday 24, Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 February, at Hood Aerodrome in Masterton.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

We are looking for a semi-retired builder or solo LBP to supervise / co-work with me while I undertake an extension project as a self-build . Rates to be negotiated prior to commencement. Currently in the design stage at present with Architect. I have experience from past house builds so not a raw beginner, both in design and construction.
Thanks Phil
