The Masterton District Council is currently considering whether to invest in a shared space for community activities, such as a civic centre or Town Hall. It is one of the biggest decisions this Council will make and it wants your opinion.
The Council wants to understand what you think are the ‘must-haves’ for a shared community facility and whether you would be willing to pay for such a facility. May Kitchen knows how important it is to provide carers with a break. After visiting her husband Stuart in respite care at a Ryman village, she was tempted to move in herself! “If it was me, I think I would enjoy it because it’s just so beautiful and the food is good.”
