Siberian Iris.....Bluish/purple water loving Iris....potted
This iris grows about a metre high, and has fibrous roots, not rhizomes or bulbs. It has long erect grass like leaves.
Siberian Iris.
It dies down in the winter.
At this time of the year it comes out with lots of spikes of tall bright blue purple flowers. Makes a lovely show.
This little plant potted up last Summer has bravely tried to throw up a flower which should be about a metre high but its waiting till it can get into the ground to really show you what it can do.
Thanks for looking.
