PLEASE NOTE REGARDING NIGHTLY HILL CLOSURES scheduled this week (9pm-4am until Friday) : Remutaka Hill will be OPEN tonight Tuesday 7th.
Due to the forecast of wintery wet and windy weather, tonight's closure has been CANCELLED for the safety of workers.
The maintenance closures will resume tomorrow night Wednesday 8th.
Please take care and drive to the wintery conditions. Snow is forecast during the daytime tomorrow (Wednesday 8th) and there will be broom trucks on the hill to sweep snow off the road.
