The ‘z’ is for Zoo.
You’ve told us you’ve missed the bus service that used to run directly from town to Wellington Zoo during the day. So from 3rd of February, we introduced the 23z, a trial service that will run to and from Wellington Station and the Zoo on weekdays and weekends.
It’ll provide more services for Newtown residents and visitors to the Zoo.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

Builder Wanted or seeking builder (LBP).
We are looking for a semi-retired builder or solo LBP to supervise / co-work with me while I undertake an extension project as a self-build . Rates to be negotiated prior to commencement. Currently in the design stage at present with Architect. I have experience from past house builds so not a raw beginner, both in design and construction.
