Wairarapa Country Music Festival is on this weekend
This weekend it's all go with the Wairarapa Country Music Festival at the Tauherenikau Racecourse. Headline act for the evening of Sat 11th January is Bevan Gardiner of John Denver Tribute fame. Also performing is Marian Burns. Gate sales with EFTPOS or come and get your ticket from either the Masterton or Martinborough i-SITE Visitor Centres. See times for performers on the link below.
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

Builder Wanted or seeking builder (LBP).
We are looking for a semi-retired builder or solo LBP to supervise / co-work with me while I undertake an extension project as a self-build . Rates to be negotiated prior to commencement. Currently in the design stage at present with Architect. I have experience from past house builds so not a raw beginner, both in design and construction.
