They were followed by Cambridge, Picton, Lake Tekapo, Kerikeri, Palmerston North, Paihia and Twizel.

What do you think about Pic's peanut growing trial in Northland?
Northland is now home to a peanut growing initiative worth $91K in a partnership between Pic's Peanut Butter and the Ministry for Primary Industries.
The project started in October on three Northland kūmara farms, with the peanuts ready for harvest in the next 16 weeks. Founder of Pic's Peanut Butter Pic Picot says that he hopes to make their product 100 per cent New Zealand-made if the trial proves successful.
MPI investment programmes director Steve Peno said that a plan to expand into a full-scale production would boost the local economy and create job opportunities for the region.
"This project fits perfectly with our goal of funding projects that will make a positive and lasting difference," says Penno.

The Organising Committee is delighted to announce that Art’nTartan is scheduled to be held in 2021 with a new format and new dates.
Providing we remain in Level 1, and inside gatherings of more than 100 people are permitted, the contest will be held in the October School Holidays on 15 & 16 October in the Celtic Barn.
Claire Drake, Producer and Debi Walters Brown, Director said today “We know that our many artists and designers have continued to design throughout 2020 and would love us to hold the awards again in 2021. We have therefore decided to proceed with the backing of the Waipu Museum Board and full details of the competition will be announced shortly”
There will be a new simplified format, which will provide for all types of entries and a competition for masks for the local primary school children. Prizes will be awarded across a range of categories and will encourage everyone from new entrants to the most experienced artists.
We expect to open entries in February and close them in mid- July. Pre-judging will be held in late August.

The Ministry of Health is asking people to trace their movements as a positive case has been confirmed to have visited 29 locations across Northland and part of the Auckland region.
All of the case's known close contacts have tested negative for Covid-19 and the risk of exposure has been described as "low" by health officials.
If any member of the public has visited any of the locations listed by the Ministry, they must self-isolate and contact Healthline to get a Covid-19 test.

How consistent are you with the COVID Tracer App?
Several businesses and other industries have asked consumers to continue using the Ministry of Health's COVID Tracer App as the number of QR code scans drops off over the summer months.
The Ministry of Health reported that national scans on January 19 were down to around 640,400. Scans peaked between September 4 and 5 where over 2.5 million scans were registered.
With more contagious strains of Covid-19 being detected in managed isolation facilities, District Health Boards across the country are encouraging business owners to get their patrons to sign in in order to maintain their ability to contract trace in the event of a community outbreak.
