Kia ora, we’re holding a Community Health Forum in your area, and would like you to join us.
At Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand we want to hear your thoughts on health and well-being, and on local health services.
To help us with this, dial in to our friendly forum and share your knowledge and experiences with us so we can improve services and enable information sharing.
As part of this, we’ll update you on key health services related matters, and emerging initiatives.
Topics include - Local community feedback and discussion on the new health system and localities.
We are also going through an organisational change process currently and will share more about this with you.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

Wild weather in the Waikato
The Waikato really copped it over the weekend, with wild weather leaving a hefty clean-up bill that may run into the millions.
