Maundy Thursday, April 6 - 6pm Passover Meal, Handwashing and Eucharist; Good Friday, April 7 - 11am Reflective Service; Easter Day, April 9 - 9.30am Traditional Easter Day Celebration Service with the Franklin Community Choir singing Handel's Hallelujah Chorus. Please note, just the one service on Easter Day (no service at 8am or Buckland) so we can all join in enjoying the choir. But for Emma Muller, it has also turned into an opportunity to celebrate her late daughter Nicola, who died 19 years ago at the age of 37.
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
