Are you looking for a guest speaker for your group?
What about a Free discussion titled
All About Stress?

As a personal project, after 4 years of research, in 2019 I published a book titled ‘Stress Overload and You’. Available in our libraries. Just after that the covid pandemic arrived and everything shut down. The few seminars I had done on the subject to promote my book, were very well received.
Since then, I discovered that most people know what stress and anxiety feels like but they don’t know what stress actually is, or specifically what to do about it. So, I created 45 x 5-minute videos on a Facebook page, for those who were interested, outlining in simple terms, exactly what is happening. That is presently also being set up as a YouTube channel.
In light of the very stressful changes our communities have gone through and will continue to do so, today I would like to offer your group a free 90-minute discussion/ presentation, titled “All About Stress”, where I will explain, in simple terms, the latest science behind what is happening inside our human body when we experience a sense of stress at any level.
I have found, that in light of the huge increase in stress-related illnesses in our community, this information is simply not getting through, and yet is important for all of us, in order to help ourselves and our family members. That’s why, right now, I choose to pass it on.
There will be plenty of time for questions and plenty of excellent references.
As a speaker, offering this free service is my way of contributing to the welfare of our community.
If the subject is of interest to your group and community then please contact me at 92 Aka Aka Rd, RD3 Pukekohe, email at phillongtaylor@gmail.com or txt me on 021 0847 1980 for further details.
Thank you.

• “That certainly explains a lot about my issues. Very empowering”.
• “Which begs the question. Why is our health system running 20 to 30 years behind the latest scientific discoveries”?

The Reserve Bank has shared some pretty blunt advice: there’s no such thing as a “safe” job anymore 🛟😑

Robots are stepping into repetitive roles in factories, plants and warehouses. AI is taking care of the admin tasks that once filled many mid-level office jobs.

We want to know: As the world evolves, what skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?

A Valentine’s-inspired wedding dress show at Ryman Healthcare’s Logan Campbell Village is providing the perfect opportunity for residents to share memories of their romantic day.

But for Emma Muller, it has also turned into an opportunity to celebrate her late daughter Nicola, who died 19 years ago at the age of 37.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
