Help shape the future of your local area

Communications from Franklin Local Board

From today until 30 June, Auckland Council’s 21 local boards want feedback on the public consultation for draft Local Board Plans 2017, which help guide decisions on local activities and projects.

Local board plans are developed every three years and the proposed outcomes in them cover everything from:

local parks and playgrounds
/ sports facilities
/ town centre development
/ protecting the environment
/ community events and more.

Find out more and have your say

Read the draft plans at www.shapeauckland.co.nz... and submit your feedback online. Full draft plans will also be available at libraries, service centres and local board offices.

Share your thoughts in person at events hosted by your local board. A complete list of dates and locations can be found online at Shape Auckland or by calling your local board office.

On social media: Visit your local board Facebook page and mention 'Local Board Plan feedback' in your post or private message.
