The proposal is to upgrade Kinleith Mill’s energy infrastructure and build a new large-scale sawmill to supply timber and bespoke mass-timber products.
That could provide hundreds of jobs and boost the nation’s economy by more than $500 million a year, it was said at a Tuesday announcement.
