PERSONAL CARER

John & Lyn from Waiwhetu

I am looking for a female Personal Carer to assist me with my morning routine on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings for 2 1/2 hours from 8.30 - 11am. I live in Waiwhetu, Lower Hutt and use an electric wheelchair. I am 71 years young. and have used a wheelchair for about 36 years.
This includes hoisting out of bed, toileting, showering, dressing, passive leg stretches, making me glam to face the day and getting my breakfast / lunch (which is my main meal).
Some housework is included. No heavy lifting involved, but this a physical job. Full training will be given. The position starts in early July, but there may be some flexibility. Oh, and by the way my husband lives with me! We are both retired, but always busy!!
Starting rate in the vicinity of $25 p/h. I am funded by MoH. through Manawanui.
