Lower Hutt Arthritis Support Group
The Lower Hutt Arthritis Support Group will be meeting at the Taita Library on Wednesday, 30 Sept at 1PM. A representative from the Mobility Centre will be demonstrating and discussing the aids that are available to people with arthritis and other disabilities. Also Companion Walking will be discussed. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
