Stolen Marching Uniform

Gloria from Avalon

Hi Neighbours,
I live on High Street, Avalon near Guiness St. Last night my car was broken into and a suit bag containing my marching uniform(s) were stolen from the boot of my car. These items are of no use to anyone else what so ever, but impacts heavily on not just me, but both of my teams.
My elderly neighbour also had a prowler shuffling around outside her house at around 3.00am this morning and other items that had been stolen from my car were found at the back of her house.
Items that were in the suit bag are:
*A black uniform jacket that has a red collar and epaulettes and black red and white details on the cuffs
*A red and black partitioned blouse with long sleeves
*A black and white polo sports shirt with Kapi Mana Insteps Leisure Marching Team on the left side of the chest
*A black fabric drawstring bag with a red cord containing a black "guards" hat with a marching girl badge on the front. There was a red a and white feather attachment inside a plastic bag inside the hat and two pairs of long sleeved white gloves.

All of these items have no value to any one else and I would be incredibly grateful if you would contact me if you find any of these items.
Thanks everyone.
Kind Regards
Gloria

Emma’s wedding dress reveal tells a different love story

Bob Scott Retirement Village

A Valentine’s-inspired wedding dress show at Ryman Healthcare’s Logan Campbell Village is providing the perfect opportunity for residents to share memories of their romantic day.

But for Emma Muller, it has also turned into an opportunity to celebrate her late daughter Nicola, who died 19 years ago at the age of 37.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
