Power companys
Heads up everyone, if you haven't given your power provider a rark up lately, do it ! I spoke to mine yesterday and said I was tempted to change and they gave me a $350 credit. I do pay my bill on time and signed up for another 2yrs, but I highly recommend giving them a call. Seems wrong they give away tvs etc to new customers....
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
