River Trail user wants bells on bikes
Do you use the Hutt River Trail?
Lower Hutt resident Richard Lamb is calling on the council to make bells on bicycles compulsory.
The 85 year-old enjoys walking along the popular trail but is worried about being hit by cyclists.
Bells on bikes were once quite common and he wants every bike sold to have a bell. What do you think?

Begonia house to be demolished at botanic gardens
It's outrageous that the Wellington City Council are going to demolish the Begonia house at the Botanic gardens. This is an asset. One would have thought the green faction of the council would have supported fixing it. It's strange no one has questioned the price required to fix it. Cycle ways more important than begonia house i think not
