Vote Sprey – Hutt City Council Candidate.

Phil Sprey

It’s time to pick a New Team at Hutt City Council!

For too long Hutt City has been treated like a dormitory suburb of the Capital. We need a fresh approach with vision, drive and commitment to position us where we deserve to be. A Destination City!

Experienced in corporate management and concert promotion, I have delivered major events including concerts like Elton John and more to the region. A track record for getting things done.

Independent Candidate. No party-political masters. No undeliverable promises. No-nonsense, unorthodox, innovative!

I am that serious in making a difference, I’m giving my first year’s salary to a local youth charity!

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
