Maxine Scheckter, from Sugar Flour in Kilbirnie, is back for a look at the science of flavour and how it is impacted by multi-sensory dining. Find out how smells, sounds, and the atmosphere interact with us while we eat to change our experience and how we can manipulate this to alter our eating experiences.

Discover more about the world of cheese with Steven Scheckter from On Trays in Petone! Learn where cheese comes from; how different cheeses are made; what the differences are between raw milk cheeses and pasteurised cheeses; and what you can do with cheese.
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
