It was an absolute pleasure to show many of you around Te Omanga Hospice's beautiful new building yesterday. Thank you for coming to our Community Open Day. We are so proud of our purpose-built facility that will serve our community for many years to come.
Our new hospice building at 136 Woburn Road will open for patients and families from 30 April.
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
