Wild Flower Property management

Matey from Wild Flower Property Management

I have been operating my new business for the past month and done well over 60 quotes for our community people, with only 7 carrying on to have work done. In some cases, I felt let down by the expectation from some, that I had to work for less than minimum wage and ignore all my financial obligations, as a business, to do that.
I now understand why a lot of small businesses struggle to survive. I can't afford to advertise for another month and go through another month like this.

Thank for those who enjoyed real old school service. I will be around still, but will use other ways of finding work, other that neighbourly.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
