Becoming NZ’s first Green Star rated pool

On track to open late 2024, the design of the new Naenae Pool and Fitness Centre has been strongly influenced by feedback from the community.

With a 50m Olympic pool, two Zoom tubes, leisure pool, poolside birthday party room, fitness centre and gym, the new centre will be a fit-for-purpose aquatic facility and social precinct that meets our communities’ needs now and into the future.

As part of our commitment to being carbon-zero by 2050, the new pool will be the first pool in Aotearoa New Zealand to have a Green Star rating. Find out more
