Set in a women's prison, Bad Girls is a powerful, uplifting and raucously entertaining musical, based on the award-winning and hugely popular British television drama.
The musical introduces us to an bunch of women on the edge and up against the odds - prostitutes, addicts, shoplifters, murderers - each with a story to tell of lives left behind and dreams of a better future ahead, and an entrenched old guard of prison officers out to dash their every hope.
Full of big songs and characters, Bad Girls is an exhilarating mix of gritty reality, rebellious spirit, and irreverent humour that touches hearts and kicks up a riot.
To enter the draw for two tickets to the Thursday, September 13 performance - email editor@huttnews.co.nz with "Bad Girls: The Musical" in the subject line.

MetService issued a heavy rain watch for the Wellington region, stretching north to the Tararuas, until 9am Tuesday morning. It has issued a strong wind watch as gale southerlies are expected to develop on Monday afternoon, and wind gusts may approach 120 kilometres an hour in exposed parts.
A slip was blocking the left lane on State Highway 58, near the State Highway 2 interchange into Silverstream. A second slip was reported on Ohiro Road, with rocks and dirt falling on top of the hood of a parked Subaru.
The New Zealand Transport Agency advised drivers to pass with care and expect some delays.
FERRIES: Bluebridge cancelled its 2pm sailing from Picton and 1.30pm from Wellington due to the weather.
