Rates Increase
Hi All, is anyone else of the opinion (as I am) that we should be getting a rates REBATE rather than a preposterous 16% increase? I say this, as when I drive around the Hutt Valley, on sections where there were once one or two homes - 1 or 2 lots of rates - there can now be a huge number of homes. Many, many multi property sections now, new subdivisions as well, all presumably paying rates. I would love to hear from someone who knows the net gain in actual properties over the last two to three years. It must be hundreds and hundreds.
