I'm sure we have all seen the devastation that has occurred recently and that our hearts go out to the all those have been impacted directly. If you are wondering how you can help:
You can drop off items tomorrow (18/2/23) at Wellington College Allen Gibbs Centre between 10am-6pm.
Items needed are:
Bed linen - duvets, sheets, blankets
Pillows
Towels
Sanitary items & toiletries
Baby supplies - nappies
Drinking water
Dry food goods
Canned food
Pet food and other supplies
Raincoats
Gumboots
Masks

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
