Event waste guru Kim Renshaw from Beyond the Bin beyondthebin.org.nz... is offering two free workshops on Monday, 4 November:
These two workshops will showcase two new regional guidelines:
1) How to Reduce Waste at Your Event (event organisers of any size welcome) 10.30am – 1pm
2) Event Packaging Guidelines (event organisers, stall holders and food/drink vendors) 1.30pm – 3.30pm
Refer to the attachment for more information – feel free to share with colleagues, friends and any event organisers who will find these workshops useful.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
