Due to various works, Remutaka Hill will be closed to traffic in both directions for the safety of road users and road workers on Sunday 24 March to Thursday 28 March from 9pm to 4am. One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
