Te-Omanga fundraiser County Lane Fair
The County Lane Fair is on next Sunday 24th Feb. Wet or Fine. 75 stalls with a wide variety of local and regional art, craft food and wine. Most stalls are inside so even if wet a great place to visit. Come for lunch. Just being there will support the hospice . Plenty of parking . Free entry but gold coin donation appreciated. Riding for the disabled site , Off Fergusson drive in County lane. Spot prizes ..
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
